Launch of The Southeast Asianist

Salam, Dunia!
The Southeast Asianist is officially launched on 21 April 2021.

We are a blog of Southeast Asian Studies, for all Southeast Asianists. We welcome submissions from academics, practitioners and students. Particularly, we encourage meta-study perspectives on the field of Southeast Asian Studies. Our focus is not on covering contemporary issues in the region - instead, we seek to contribute to meta-level discussions on the discipline of Southeast Asian Studies. 

We accept submissions in the formats of blog posts, commentaries, book reviews, media reviews, and review articles. There is no predefined word limit - please make your submissions clear and concise, but long enough to get your point across. We look forward to receiving one of our first submissions from you!
