We accept submissions in the formats of blog posts, commentaries, book reviews, media reviews, and review articles. There is no predefined word limit - please make your submissions clear and concise, but long enough to get your point across.

Casual writings on Southeast Asia and Southeast Asian Studies.
Commentaries
Articles in the style of typical op-eds.
Book reviews
Articles critiquing a book.
Media reviews
Articles critiquing different forms of media portraying Southeast Asia. It can be audiovisual such as movies, series, documentaries, or purely audio and purely visual.
Review articles
Articles that summarize the current state of understanding on a topic. They should survey and summarize previously studies - they could be a general overview, or focus on a selection of specific books or articles.
